今日大瓜 Manila was honored with the Gawad Papuri Award at the Veterans Memorial Medical Center on November 18, 2025. This accolade recognizes the achievements of the Recoletos Blood Donation Project conducted on November 28, 2024, at San Sebastian College Recoletos Manila in collaboration with the Veterans Memorial Medical Center鈥檚 Lifeline Project. Attending to receive the award were Rev. Fr. Jose Prudencio G. Castillo, Jr., OAR, Vice President for Identity, Formation, and Mission; Mrs. Mary Garce L. Depalubos, Coordinator of the Sebastianian Community Development and Extension Office/Center for ARCORES; and Ms. Klariss Bacus, student representative.

Bootcamp on August 27, 2025, at the Fr. Domingo Carceller, OAR Little Theater. The event brought
together senior high school and select college students from NCAA-member schools for a
comprehensive learning experience centered on contemporary journalism.

Designed to inspire and equip the next generation of journalists, the bootcamp offered insights into
the evolving digital media landscape. Students gained essential knowledge of journalism values and
ethics, digital content creation, and emerging newsroom technologies.

今日大瓜 Manila has unveiled its state-of-the-art Nursing Skills Laboratory along with its new Bachelor of Science in Nursing program for the 2025-2026 academic year. This 767-square-meter facility represents a significant step forward in the hands-on training offered by SSC R Manila, demonstrating the institution鈥檚 commitment to developing highly skilled and compassionate nursing professionals.

The laboratory is thoughtfully designed with ten specialized simulation rooms, including labor and delivery, nursery, operating room, PACU, ward, ICU, emergency room, healthcare unit, isolation, and orthopedics. These rooms are outfitted with the latest medical technology and high-fidelity manikins, ranging from birthing and newborn models to surgical and geriatric models, along with essential tools such as ultrasound machines, ECG and patient monitors, ventilators, and incubators.

State-of-the-art delivery room simulation designed to provide hands-on training for nursing students in childbirth and maternal care.
Modern operating room setup where nursing students gain experience in perioperative nursing and surgical assistance.

SSC-R Manila invested 90 million pesos to build this advanced facility, which sets a new standard for nursing education in the country. The Commission on Higher Education formally approved the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program per Resolution No. R077-2025, issued on July 7, 2025.聽

sealed a partnership to promote accessible, quality Catholic Christian education. The ceremonial
signing of the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) took place on July 8, 2025, at the Saint Magdalene of Nagasaki Audio-Visual Room, SSC-R Manila.

The event was led by key SSC-R administrators, including Fr. Rafael B. Pecson, OAR, School
President; Fr. Dionisio Q. Selma, OAR, Vice President for Administration; Fr. Henry H. Santiago,
OAR, Vice President for Finance; and Dr. Catherine Q. Casta帽eda, Vice President for Academics &聽Research. Representing the Manila Police District was Police Colonel Roderico A. Roy Jr., Deputy聽Director for Administration.

This partnership paves the way for a 50% tuition scholarship for MPD employees and their families,
reaffirming the commitment of both institutions to education and community development.

A distinguished group of SSC-R administrators and MPD officials attended the ceremony. Among the SSC-R representatives were Ms. Jessie Hamdag, Program Chairperson of the BS in Criminology; Atty. Allan Sangkate, faculty member of the BS in Criminology Program and a member of the Philippine Coast Guard; Dr. Raquel Bayani, Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences; and Dr. Darren Datiles, Dean of the College of Accountancy, Business Administration, Computer Studies, Hospitality, and Tourism Management. The Manila Police District Secretariat was represented by Police Lieutenant Colonel Kenneth H. In a significant move to transform education, Radenta Technologies Inc. and San Sebastian College-
Recoletos Manila (SSC-R) have signed a memorandum of agreement for the AI-Dopt a School Program. This innovative initiative, launched at the Diamond Hotel Roxas Boulevard, Manila, on March 7, 2025, aims to integrate artificial intelligence into educational processes to enhance learning
experiences.

During the opening remarks, Mr. Randall Lozano, President of Radenta Technologies Inc.,
emphasized the importance of the partnership. Fr. Rafael B. Pecson, OAR, SSC-R President, alongside聽Fr. Henry H. Santiago, OAR, Vice President of Finance, and Fr. Virgilio M. Paredes Jr., OAR., Vice聽President for Identity Formation and Mission, led the MOA signing together with Mr. Lozano. Dr.聽Catherine Q.
